ACEP emPOC - The American College of Emergency Physicians (ACEP) Emergency Medicine Point of Care (emPOC) app is a cross platform application designed to provide evidence-based, Emergency Medicine clinical content in a point-of-care tool designed for use at the bedside. Content within this app is curated from the field’s top experts and thought leaders. A web version of this content is available separately on ACEP’s website. For the Android and iOS Flutter release of emPOC (Dec ‘21), we rebuilt emPOC from scratch in collaboration with ACEP’s staff.

WVEMS Protocols

WVEMS Protocols - The WVEMS Protocols app is a cross-platform Flutter app designed to quickly view, interact, and search through PDFs. It is being used clinically in 7 cities and 12 counties in southwest Virginia. The app allows EMTs to access the guidelines and protocols necessary for on-shift patient care. In the first month of release alone, the app was installed on 1,200 Android phones and iPhones. This app builds heavily on the use of interactive PDFs.

PRAPARE Survey

PRAPARE SURVEY - This is an open-source work in progress. The Protocol for Responding to and Assessing Patients' Assets, Risks, and Experiences (PRAPARE) survey was recreated in a Flutter environment using its [LOINC FHIR® specification]. The app directly loads the FHIR® spec (albeit with some basic modifications to the original FHIR® JSON to more closely match the initial survey). AMIA Symptom Tracker - This was the demo application used for live-coding in the 4-hour Flutter workshop given at AMIA’s 2020 Virtual Clinical Informatics Conference. A total of 6 informaticians hosted this workshop. Features Welcome Screen, live-coded in full Symptom Tracker Dashboard, live-coded in full Check-In Screen, live-coded in full Firebase Puns, created by audience using Live Share Flutter / Firebase connection, previously created while live-coding FHIR® Package Demo, creating live patients on HAPI and Aidbox FHIR servers.
